True wedding story?

This story has been going around the intranet, and I think it was even mentioned on Jay Leno recently. I don't know if it's true, but I thought I would share it either way...

You got to love this guy... This is a true story about a recent wedding that took place at Clemson University . It was in the local newspaper and even Jay Leno mentioned it.

It was a huge wedding with about 300 guests. After the wedding, at the reception, the groom got up on stage with a microphone to talk to the crowd. He said he wanted to thank everyone for coming, many from long distances, to support them
at their wedding.

He especially wanted to thank the bride's and his family and to thank his new father-in-law for providing such a lavish reception. As a token of his deep appreciation he said he wanted to give everyone a special gift just from him. So taped to the bottom of everyone's chair, including the wedding party was an envelope. He said this was his gift to everyone, and asked them to open their envelope

Inside each manila envelope was an 8x10 glossy of his bride having sex with the best man. The groom had gotten suspicious of them weeks earlier and had hired a private detective to tail them. After just standing there, just watching the guests' reactions for a couple of minutes, he turned to the best man and said, 'F---you!' Then he turned to his bride and said, 'F--- you!'Then he turned to the dumbfounded crowd and said, 'I'm outta here.'

He had the marriage annulled first thing in the morning. While most people would have canceled the wedding immediately after finding out about the affair, this guy goes through with the charade, as if nothing were wrong.

His revenge--making the bride's parents pay over $32,000 for a 300-guest wedding and reception, and best of all, trashing the bride's and best man's reputations in front of 300 friends and family members.

This guy has balls the size of church bells.

There's hope...

I'm not sure about you, but this is the time of year I start getting a case of the winter blues. It's been snowing and cold for the last couple weeks and I'm starting to think that I've back living in Minneapolis. But wait.... there's hope for all of us who live in Chicago. Check out this average temperature chart. According to this, it's going to start warming up soon. Hang in there.

Purdue Basketball Game

My brother and I decided to go to the Purdue game on a whim this morning. They were playing at Northwestern, so it was close and last minute tickets are really easy to get. We walked in about 15 minutes before the game and got two seats. They were towards the back of the stadium, but with the stadium being pretty small, they weren't that bad. The 1st half was pretty close, but Purdue picked it up in the second half and won. I'm surprised that Purdue is doing so well this year. They will most likely win the big ten this year. GO BOILERS!

Here are a couple shots I took at the game. It's hard to believe that we were in row NN. I love my 70-200 zoom lens! You can get really close in when you need to.

Happy Birthday Joshua Goldhaber

Earlier today we went over to Joshua's house for his 2nd birthday party. It's amazing to see how fast he's grown up in just over a year. I think it's fair to say that Josh now has the largest collection of Thomas the Train engines and accessories in all of Cook County. Here's a slideshow from the party...

Kicking it up to the next level

Ladies and Gentlemen... let me introduce you to the Canon Mark III. I bought this camera a couple days ago and it just arrived today. I've been playing around with the camera a little bit and I'm pretty amazed at what it can. It can shoot 10 frames per second. That's crazy! I'm going to take some shots this weekend, and I'll post some of the pictures on the blog later on
