Sabrina & Brendan

This past weekend I photographed Sabrina & Brendan's wedding. If you want to see some of the engagement picture I took last summer, click here. I was introduced to Sabrina & Brendan through Lisa and Jeff Bayer whose wedding I photographed last year. Jeff was able to fly in for the weekend, so it was nice to see him again.

The weather for this wedding was great. With all the rain we were getting, I don't think anyone was thinking that it would be so nice. The ceremony was in the backyard of Sabrina's parent's home, which made it a really intimate setting. Their house was really picturesque and the property was just the perfect size to holding a wedding. One thing you should know is that Sabrina is a school teacher, so she invited her entire 3rd grade class to the ceremony. They all had a special place right next to the wedding party. I did notice there seemed to be an unofficial "girls to the left, boy to the right" seating arrangement which mysteriously happened. It's funny how that works.

After the ceremony, we went to the hospital to visit their grandma who had surgery recently. It was truly a special moment to witness. When grandma woke up, her eyes came to life when she saw Sabrina in her wedding dress. She felt so honored that Sabrina and Brendan had made a special trip just for her.

The reception was at Montefiori which was a really unique place. It was nice mix of inside and outside activities. There was plenty of room so everyone was really comfortable hanging out. It was a great night.

Special thanks goes out to Amy Cano who assisted me for the day.
